A Healdsburg winery owner brought us a 1965 Mustang last spring. A tractor had backed out of a Westside Road vineyard gate without looking and crushed the front quarter panel. The car had been in his family since the 1970s, and he'd been told by two closer shops they couldn't match the original Wimbledon White. He drove past every one of them — past Petaluma, past Novato — to bring it to Verdi Street. Six weeks later he picked it up, looked at it for a full minute, and said, "It's exactly the way my dad bought it."
That is what Anthony's Auto Craft has been doing for Sonoma County drivers for over 50 years. We are not a faceless chain, and we are not the closest shop on a map. We are the one Sonoma collectors, wine country owners, Petaluma commuters, and Santa Rosa Tesla drivers cross county lines for — because they want the work done right. Anthony himself still walks the floor every day. The team knows your car is not just transportation. It is how you get to the vineyard, to your kid's game in Rohnert Park, or down to the city.
Marin Independent Journal readers voted us Best of Marin in 2025 — and Sonoma drivers keep telling us they made the drive on a friend's recommendation.
A Best of Marin winner with a long line of Sonoma County clients. The drive south is 30 to 60 minutes — and it's worth it.
When something goes wrong with it, you want it fixed by someone who gives a damn. That is us.

What We Do
From a parking-lot ding outside the Healdsburg Plaza to a full collision rebuild after a US-101 accident — every job gets the same level of precision.
01
When an accident happens on US-101 between Petaluma and Cloverdale, on Highway 12, or on a narrow vineyard road, our collision repair team assesses every panel, structural component, and system. We restore your car to factory spec — not just cosmetically, but structurally.
02
Fenders, doors, quarter panels, plastic bumper repair, panel replacement, and aluminum body repair on Tesla, Range Rover, Mercedes, and Audi. We use OEM parts where the warranty calls for them and high-grade aftermarket only when it makes sense for you.
03
Our downdraft booth uses computerized color matching with a spectrophotometer. Whether you need a single panel sprayed or a full body repaint after wildfire or sun damage, we mix the exact factory color for your vehicle's year, make, and model.
04
The fastest, most affordable fix for door dings from the Sonoma Plaza, Coddingtown, or the Healdsburg square — plus hail dimples after a North Bay storm. We massage the metal back into shape with no filler and no repaint.
05
A vehicle with a bent frame is unsafe — and most drivers cannot tell after a moderate collision. Our laser-measured frame benches catch every millimeter of deviation and bring structural geometry back to OEM specs. Frame repair is the foundation of every proper collision job.
06
Bumper damage is the most common auto body repair we see from Sonoma drivers. A slow parking-lot impact can crack a plastic bumper in seconds. We repair or replace front and rear bumpers using OEM-quality parts and finish them to match your paint perfectly.
07
Sonoma has one of the strongest classic-car communities in California — Concours d'Elegance regulars, vintage rally drivers, and weekend cruisers. We have restored 1960s Mustangs, Italian roadsters, and pre-war coupes for owners from Glen Ellen to Geyserville.
08
After a rare North Bay hail storm or a long Highway 1 drive that picks up rock chips along Bodega Bay, we handle every kind of cosmetic damage. Shallow scratches polish out through paint correction. Deeper scratches get filled, primed, and blended invisibly.
09
Every collision repair pickup at Anthony's already includes a complete inside-and-out detail — no paint dust, no tape residue, no plastic still on the seat. Paint correction, headlight restoration, and full concierge service available as standalone work.
How It Works
Most people have never been through a collision repair before. Here is exactly what the process looks like at Anthony's Auto Craft — built to make a 30-to-60 minute drive from Sonoma worth it.
01
Drive down or call. We inspect the damage and give you a written estimate — usually same day. No pressure, no surprises.
02
We deal directly with your adjuster. We have worked with every major California carrier — State Farm, AAA, Allstate, USAA, and more.
03
Our certified technicians get to work. You get updates throughout — no guessing when your car will be ready.
04
We walk through every repair together before you take the keys. We do not close a job until you are fully satisfied.
Roads We Know by Heart
Sonoma County is one of the most scenic places to drive in California — and one of the trickiest. Wine-country traffic mixes with farm equipment, cyclists, deer, fog, and tourists who don't know the local roads. We have repaired thousands of vehicles hit on every one of these routes and we know the kind of damage each one tends to cause.
Rear-end collisions in stop-and-go traffic from Petaluma through Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, Windsor, and up to Cloverdale — the most common job we see from Sonoma drivers.
Tourist traffic and tight passes from Sonoma through Glen Ellen and Kenwood. Side-swipe and bumper damage from drivers focused on vineyards instead of the road.
Foggy curves through Bodega Bay, Jenner, and Sea Ranch — paint and panel work after slow-speed scrapes against rock walls and rock-chip damage from coastal gravel.
Narrow two-lanes from Forestville to Guerneville with redwood-shaded blind curves and seasonal flood debris. Quarter-panel and undercarriage repair common.
Tractors, vineyard trucks, and tourist cyclists share these wine-country lanes around Healdsburg. Side-swipe and front-end damage from low-speed encounters.
Deer, fog, and steep grades from Occidental to the coast. Front-end damage, radiator work, and headlight replacement after night-time wildlife strikes.
Local Knowledge
Sonoma is a county of contrasts. To the south, the daily US-101 grind — Petaluma commuters, Rohnert Park parents, and Santa Rosa professionals heading into the Bay Area. To the east, the rolling Sonoma Valley with Highway 12 cutting through Glen Ellen and Kenwood toward Napa. To the west, the redwood shade of the Russian River canyon and the foggy turns of Highway 1 along the coast. To the north, Healdsburg, Geyserville, and Cloverdale — quiet wine country until tourist season floods every two-lane road. Living in Sonoma means knowing a good auto body shop before you need one.
Affluent neighborhoods like Fountaingrove, Bennett Valley, and Oakmont in Santa Rosa run on long commutes and high-end vehicles — Tesla, Range Rover, Lexus, and a healthy fleet of weekend exotics. Healdsburg and Sonoma Valley owners drive everything from vintage Italian roadsters to brand-new Lucid Airs. Petaluma and Rohnert Park families lean toward pickups, SUVs, and EVs. Whatever you drive, our shop is built for it — and the drive south is shorter than people expect.
Insurance
We handle the hard partFiling an auto body insurance claim can feel overwhelming, especially right after an accident. You are dealing with a stressful situation, and now you have to deal with phone trees, adjusters, and repair timelines.
At Anthony's Auto Craft, we have processed thousands of claims with California's largest insurers — State Farm, AAA, Allstate, Farmers, USAA, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Mercury, and others. We advocate on your behalf so your car gets fully repaired, not just patched to the minimum the insurer wants to pay for. We file the claim, send the photos, and write the supplements when an adjuster misses something.
You have the legal right to choose your own repair shop in California. Don't let an insurance company steer you to their preferred shop. Choose the shop that gets it right — even if it's a county away.
EV Repair
Tesla, Rivian, LucidSonoma's EV adoption has tracked right alongside Marin's. Drive down a residential street in Sebastopol, Healdsburg, or Bennett Valley and you'll see Tesla wall connectors on half the garages. EV collision work, however, is not the same animal as a gas car when something goes wrong with the body.
EV collision repair requires certified bonded-aluminum and high-strength-steel processes that most shops are not approved to perform. We are Tesla-approved and trained on high-voltage-safe and structural EV repair, including the battery disconnect protocols every Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, BMW i-series, and Mercedes EQ requires before any structural panel comes off.
Restoration
Classic & ExoticSonoma County has one of the deepest classic-car communities in California — vintage rallies through wine country, Concours d'Elegance regulars, and barn-find restorations across every back road from Penngrove to Geyserville. Anthony's Auto Craft has been a trusted partner for restoration projects of every size: a partial repaint on a vintage Mustang in a Petaluma garage, a full body restoration on a 1960s European roadster from Sonoma Valley, or a frame-up rebuild of a 1950s American cruiser from Healdsburg.
Classic car restoration requires patience, experience, and an eye for original details. We source the right materials, match period-correct colors, and treat every classic car as the irreplaceable piece it is.
Wildfire & Sun
Paint care for North Bay conditionsSonoma County paint and clear coat take a beating that drivers in foggier counties don't see. Long, hot summers in the inland valleys break down clear coat faster. Wildfire smoke and ash settle on hoods and roofs and etch the finish if they aren't washed off promptly. Coastal salt air around Bodega Bay and Sea Ranch accelerates rust on door sills and rocker panels. Vehicles that survived the 2017 Tubbs Fire or the 2019 Kincade Fire often came back with paint damage that only showed up months later.
We handle full body repaint, color matching, paint correction, clear coat application, and undercarriage rustproofing — the slow-burn maintenance work that keeps a Sonoma vehicle looking new five and ten years out, not just six months after the dealer.
Minor & Lease
Affordable optionsNot every repair is a major collision. Minor accident repair — the kind you need after a slow parking-lot bump on the Sonoma Plaza, a shopping-cart encounter at Coddingtown, or a tight garage scrape on a Healdsburg hillside driveway — is something we handle every day. These jobs are often more affordable than people expect, especially without an insurance claim.
If you are coming up on the end of a vehicle lease, we can help with lease return repair. Lessees often pay inflated "excess wear" charges when they return a car with scuffs or scratches. Having us handle the repairs before turn-in can save you significantly.
Small dents and scratches spread — especially in Sonoma's hot summers, salty coastal air, and post-fire ash. Call today for a free, no-obligation estimate.

HELPFUL INFORMATION
No. In California, you have the legal right to choose your own auto body shop. Insurance companies sometimes steer customers to their preferred shops because those shops agree to cut costs. You are not obligated to use them. Choose the shop you trust, and we will work directly with your insurer.

We serve Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sonoma, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Windsor, Cloverdale, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Guerneville, Forestville, Bodega Bay, Sea Ranch, Geyserville, and the surrounding communities. Customers tell us the drive is worth it for the quality of work and the OEM certifications most shops up north don't carry.
Learn More About Our Service AreasIt depends on the severity. A minor bumper repair or door ding can be done in one to two days. A full collision repair with frame work, panel replacement, and a complete repaint typically takes five to ten business days. We give every customer a realistic timeline upfront and contact you if anything changes — no Sonoma driver wants to make a surprise second trip down 101.
Learn More About Our Service AreasYes. We are Tesla-approved and trained on bonded-aluminum, high-voltage-safe, and structural EV repair processes. We also work on Rivian, Lucid, BMW i-series, and Mercedes EQ models. Sonoma's EV adoption is among the highest in the state and we are built for it.
Learn More About Our Service AreasYes. Wildfire ash is acidic and etches clear coat if it sits on a vehicle through the heat of summer. We have repaired many vehicles after the 2017 Tubbs Fire and the 2019 Kincade Fire. Treatment ranges from full paint correction and ceramic resealing on lighter cases to spot repaint or full body repaint on more severe damage.
Learn More About Our Service AreasYes. Deer strikes are common on Bohemian Highway, Coleman Valley Road, Highway 128, and the rural stretches around Glen Ellen, Geyserville, and Annapolis. We repair the front-end damage, replace radiators and condensers when needed, and refinish the panels so the car looks like nothing happened.
